About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Shunter/Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement of UPVC frames on site, supporting loading/unloading operations, and driving vehicles like tractors and up to 7.5 tonnes when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely shunting vehicles within the yard and depot.
- Driving vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes as required for deliveries, collections, or vehicle repositioning.
- Ensuring all vehicles are moved in line with company safety procedures.
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
- Assisting with loading, unloading, and general yard duties when required.
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient and safe operation.
Requirements:
- A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence.
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card preferred.
- Previous experience as a shunter or driver is desirable.
- Strong awareness of health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
