Job Summary
We are seeking experienced, motivated and detail-oriented Asbestos Operatives and Supervisors to join our team on large scale ongoing projects in London. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely managing asbestos removal projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and if a Supervisor, leading team members to deliver high-quality results. Your expertise will help protect workers, clients, and the environment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction, renovation, and demolition sectors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos removal operations in accordance with all relevant safety standards and regulations
- Supervise and coordinate team members during asbestos abatement projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Prepare site assessments, risk assessments, and method statements prior to commencing work
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to facilitate safe removal and disposal of asbestos materials
- Maintain detailed records of all activities, including waste disposal documentation and safety logs
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during operations.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance and smooth communication throughout each phase
Requirements
- MUST HAVE at least 2 years experience working with asbestos removal
- Must hold a CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to asbestos handling and removal
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks in various environments; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces if required
- Skills in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, fabrication, or related trades are advantageous

Pay: £200.00-£230.00 per day
