At Forth Scientific, we’re a friendly, growing team providing high‑quality environmental microbiology testing. Our work helps organisations keep their water systems safe, and we take pride in being reliable, approachable, and easy to work with.

We’re looking for an Administrator who enjoys being part of a supportive team, likes keeping things organised, and wants to build a career in a scientific environment — no lab experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

Welcome enquiries and support clients with clear communication
Help log, track, and organise samples arriving at the lab
Keep our records, certificates, and documents tidy and accurate
Support the team with scheduling, reporting, and day‑to‑day admin
Work closely with our lab staff and learn how our testing process works
Carry out occasional driving duties, such as collecting or delivering samples

What You’ll Bring

A positive, can‑do attitude
Good organisation and attention to detail
Confidence using computers and Microsoft Office
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Friendly communication style
Full UK driving licence
