As our QHSE Compliance Training Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering QH3SE training standards across GXO's UK operations.
From driving compliance and governance to implementing innovative blended learning solutions, you'll ensure our people have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to work safely and effectively. Working at the heart of GXO's UK operations, you'll collaborate with senior leaders, site teams, QHSE specialists, NEBOSH and IOSH accredited bodies, and external training partners to drive a culture where safety comes first.
This is a highly visible role where you'll influence stakeholders, support audits, champion best practice, and help shape behaviours that strengthen compliance and deliver safer outcomes across the business
This is a full time, permanent position working core hours of Monday to Friday between 08.00 to 17.00. You’ll be a national instructor covering Midlands and South.

Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (dependent on level of experience), and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Develop and deliver GXO's national QH3SE training strategy, ensuring alignment with UK legislation, regulatory requirements, industry best practice, and business objectives
- Lead and support a team of QH3SE trainers, driving consistent training delivery, professional development, and the embedding of QH3SE values across operational teams
- Design, implement, and continuously improve engaging training programmes, including bespoke customer-specific solutions and innovative digital and blended learning approaches. Monitor training effectiveness through audits, compliance reporting, feedback, and performance metrics, maintaining robust records and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage national training operations, including planning, logistics, and stakeholder management, post-incident training interventions, and the integration of lessons learned into future programmes
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A qualified training professional with a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, CTLLS or Level 4 Award in Education & Training. Additional Health & Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH certificates would be highly desirable!
- Experienced in designing and delivering impactful training programmes, face to face and virtual with a track record of managing large-scale or national learning initiatives that drive compliance and behavioural change
- Strong QHSE knowledge and a solid understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation
- An exceptional communicator and influencer, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and building strong relationships across operational and leadership teams
- Flexible and self-motivated, with a willingness to travel extensively across the UK to support GXO sites, deliver training and champion best practice nationwide
