What do we need?

We are looking for an Events Supervisor to join our team at The Maynard, Grindleford. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service, a knack for leading a dynamic team and committed to excellence, then we want to meet you!

About the job:

Working together with the wedding and events team you will:

· Assist with the running of events, taking a leading role in ensuring everything runs smoothly.

· Leading the team in creating a memorable experience.

· Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, where each team member feels valued and empowered.

· Ensure that our guests receive an unparalleled experience through attentive service and impeccable presentation.

· Set up and arrange our Chatsworth Suite for weddings, private parties, conferences and other events according to the event calendar.

· Assist with moving, organizing, and storing equipment, furniture, and décor.

· Sort, stock, and replenish supplies and inventory as needed.

· Ensure all areas are clean, tidy, and ready for events.

· Support the events team with any additional tasks as required, including minor maintenance or logistics.

· Follow health and safety procedures at all times, including manual handling

Requirements:

· Ability to work flexible, seasonal, and ad-hoc hours, including weekends and evenings.

· Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Previous experience in hospitality, events, or similar roles is desirable but not essential

A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry and a solid understanding of operations within the hospitality industry.

The role provides flexible hours, including late nights and weekends, depending on the needs of the business.

Due to the rural location and nature of this role the successful applicant will need to have access to their own vehicle.
