We are a growing organisation and are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Music Teacher to join our team and lead weekly classes for under 5s and their grown-ups in Bradford-on-Avon.
About the role
You will lead weekly Little Piccolos music classes, creating fun, engaging and high-quality musical experiences for young children and their parents or carers. These classes support children's development in a fun and accessible way.
The role would suit a confident musician and performer who loves working with young children, enjoys connecting with families and has a natural ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

- Using a range of instruments, movement, rhythm and singing to support children's musical development
- Building positive relationships with families and creating a welcoming and inclusive class environment
- Following the Little Piccolos teaching approach and using our specialist repertoire
- Supporting the growth of the classes by promoting them within the local community
- Representing Little Piccolos professionally and contributing positively to our growing organisation
About you

- Reliable, organised and professional
- Passionate about music and its benefits for children's development and wellbeing
- Willing to actively promote classes locally and help grow the Little Piccolos community
- Excited to learn and develop within the Little Piccolos approach
Training and support
You will receive training from Little Piccolos before starting the role, including training in the Kodály approach and our highly specialised Little Piccolos repertoire.
You do not need to have prior experience of teaching the Kodály approach, as full training will be provided. What matters most is your musical ability, confidence, enthusiasm and ability to connect with young children and their families.
What we offer
- The opportunity to join a growing female-owned social enterprise
- A supportive team of musicians, who meet online once a half term and in person once a year
- Specialist training in the Little Piccolos approach, Kodály methodology and our unique repertoire
- A rewarding role supporting young children's musical development

The initial commitment is 3 hours on Friday mornings, with significant opportunity for the role to grow as demand increases.
