Here at Mill Hill Primary School, we are seeking to appoint a General Teaching assistant to join a welcoming and supportive team in Northallerton. Mill Hill Primary is a vibrant school with 236 children from ages 2-11, and we run a one class per year group structure. We are based in the heart of Northallerton, and our community links are very important to us. Staff work very well as a team, and we are a warm, welcoming and inclusive school – no two days are ever the same! The purpose of this post is to support learning both within classrooms and in our Thrive room. The post will involve working 1:1 with pupils with SEN (under the direction of the SENCO/class teachers and other appropriate staff), small group intervention work and some more general classroom support activities. We have a supportive team who will provide training and support as you get to know our school and our pupils.

The salary is dependent on current qualifications and experience, please see the attached job description for more information. An honorarium payment of £1260 per annum is available for this role, for the SEN responsibilities.
