As an Export & Logistics Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.
Haygrove are looking for a passionate person who can take responsibility for the efficient movement of purchase orders through the creation, receipting of items with delivery notes and matching to invoices. You will support the purchasing team in maintaining a clean order system
Key accountabilities of the role
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery with international suppliers, ensuring accurate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms.
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, responsiveness) and manage escalations when required.
- Support with Sourcing and evaluate new suppliers as needed; maintain approved vendor lists.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams on receiving, storage and stock rotation.
- Prepare stock reports, forecasts, and analysis for management.
- Resolve delivery delays, damaged goods, or customs issues with support of logistics team.
- Liaise with finance on invoicing, payment terms, and cost discrepancies.

Experience
- 1+ years' experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory administration.
- Some knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms, customs, import/export documentation).
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Navision/BC365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar) and confident in Excel.
- Proven track record of managing vendor relationships.
- Analytical mindset to inform demand forecasting and stock optimisation.
- International trade experience desirable.
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
Qualifications
- Good standard of education, particularly literacy and numeracy.
- Certification in a relevant field would be beneficial, such as Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD).
