Facilities Electrical Engineer
Dayshift Role, 40 hours per week

The successful applicant will:
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, control panels and fire protection systems.
- Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment and systems.
- Adhere to all relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g. BS 7671, HSE guidelines, West Fraser company policies and procedures)
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to safe work practices.
- Participate in the Company on call rota
- Utilise safely and train site apprentices to a high level of competency.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Improving maintenance and operational efficiencies through the application of Preventative and Emerging Work Management as required by the business CMMS systems
- Carry out and monitor work execution in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere to the plan of PMs to ensure reliability of equipment and PM compliance, ensuring safe working practises are always adhered to
Qualifications/Experience:
- Industrial/Commercial (preferred) or domestic electrical experience
- Completed a four-year recognised apprenticeship (Essential)
- SVQ Level 3 Electrician
- City & Guilds 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BD7671:2018)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience post apprenticeship
