We are seeking experienced and reliable self employed cleaners to join our growing team in South Devon. As part of our friendly and dynamic cleaning team you will be required to carry out various types of cleaning, including holiday let (airbnb) properties, deep cleans, end of tenancies and commercial cleans.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, have keen attention to detail, be highly motivated and is determined to provide the highest standard of cleaning every single time. For our holiday let cleaners, the job goes beyond that of regular domestic cleaning ; you will be required to ensure that every property is left in excellent condition for our guests, from spotless bathrooms and beautifully made beds to fully stocked kitchen cupboards and preparing welcome baskets within the properties.
As for deep cleans and end of tenancy cleans, you will be required to have an exceptional eye for details and be willing to go the extra mile for a spotless job.
You will be part of a fun and friendly team, striving for the one single goal of ensuring that every property is left gleaming.
This role is available on a self employed basis, however we will be able to provide you with a minimum of 14 hours of work per week at a rate of £15 ph for Airbnb and Holiday Let properties and £17 ph for deep cleans and end of tenancy cleans.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare properties to high standards adhering to detailed checklists.
- Thorough cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, game rooms and living rooms other areas as requested.
- Remove, and change bed linens and towels within Airbnb properties and ensuring beds are made to a hotel standard
- Clean and disinfect all surfaces
- Empty bins and dispose of waste
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Vacuum and mop floors.
- Restock essential supplies and amenities.
- Ensure all areas are immaculately clean
- Report any damages, maintenance requirements, or possible improvements.
- Ensure all fixtures, fittings and appliances are clean and functional.
- Maintain inventory of linen and cleaning supplies.
- Take before and after photos and videos of each property.
- Key and lockbox management and security.
- Follow safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Own transport is essential as you will need to drive to different properties to carry out cleaning.
- For Airbnb cleaning, all essential equipment and supplies, including vacuum cleaners, mops, are provided at the property but you may be required to carry linen and cleaning products from the office to some properties and back.
- Minimum of 1 years of cleaning experience, within a hospitality setting is preferred but not essential as on the job training will be provided.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high standard with every clean completed.
- Good communication skills are essential and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and good critical thinking skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job.
- Ideally - flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, often at short notice (ideally 1-2 days).
- Have a smartphone (e.g. Apple iPhone or Android) with WhatsApp and the ability to take clear detailed photos and videos.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to excellence is a must.

- Your schedule will vary depending on business needs but for holiday let cleaning our usual hours start at 10 am, following guest departure and ends at 3pm.
