At AA Precision we are looking for a skilled CNC Miller Programmer and Setter to join our manufacturing team at our site in Barnstaple on a 4-day working week. We are a family run business that manufactures precision CNC machined components for a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, medical & more.
The successful applicant would join our CNC milling department and be responsible for programming, setting and operating machines, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality of the components produced.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- An existing understanding of engineering & machining principles
- Previous experience with programming and setting CNC milling machines
- Ability to adhere to quality procedures and experience using metrology equipment
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and adhere to safety procedures
- Capable of working as part of a manufacturing team with various skill levels
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Previous experience using Heidenhain CNC controllers
- An engineering apprenticeship or other engineering qualification
