Community Adult Nurse – Complex Care

Location: Exeter Shifts: Monday-Sunday: Days & Nights (8-8)

Pay Rates (including holiday pay):

Days: £35.20 per hour
Nights: £39.55 per hour
Weekends: £44.06 per hour

Why This Role Matters

Joining Thornbury means being part of something bigger - giving individuals the chance to grow, learn, and experience joy despite complex health needs. We are looking for compassionate and patient nurses to join a community care package supporting an adult client with a spinal injury and complex care needs. The client is ventilator-dependent via tracheostomy and is able to communicate verbally. You should promote consistency, independence, and patient-led care in this role. Successful candidates will be empathetic, respectful, and able to build a positive therapeutic relationship, recognising the emotional challenges that can accompany a loss of independence. Nurses must be comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team. This role requires nurses who are available to work day shifts &/or night shifts.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking nurses who are:

Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for individualised care.
Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
Skilled in key areas such as Tracheostomy Care and Suction, Ventilation via Tracheostomy & Spinal Injury Experience.
