Full job description

Parker Adams Boat Sales is a growing yacht brokerage specialising in the sale of quality motorboats and yachts across the UK. Since acquiring FlexiSail in 2024, both businesses have experienced significant growth. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with our customers.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Office Administrator / PA to join our team on a maternity cover basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the businesses and ensuring excellent customer service is maintained.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing company diaries and appointments
Monitoring and responding to emails
Handling incoming telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently
Greeting and assisting visitors where required
Providing general administrative support to the sales team
Maintaining accurate records and customer information
Assisting with office organisation and daily operations
Providing day to day support to the Directors when required.
Supporting the team at boat shows and industry events when required (additional hours may be available)

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Well organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
Professional, friendly, and confident when dealing with customers
Comfortable managing emails, calendars, and general administration
Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Interested in boating, yachts, or the marine industry (preferred but not essential)
