We're looking for a General Foreman to join our Sizewell C team based in Suffolk.

Location: Sizewell C - Suffolk
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Foreman to join our Sizewell C team in Suffolk. You'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction operations related to large infrastructure projects, ensuring that all work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the required specifications, while managing supervisors, subcontractors, and resources on-site.

What will you be responsible for?

As a General Foreman, you'll be working within the Sizewell C team, supporting them in delivering large infrastructure projects safely and efficiently. Your day to day will include:

Supervising and coordinating site operatives, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out according to programme schedules
Enforcing health and safety policies, conducting site safety briefings, and ensuring compliance with UK Health & Safety regulations
Monitoring workmanship and ensuring all work meets required specifications and quality standards
Allocating daily tasks, monitoring productivity and progress against project timelines
Maintaining accurate site records including labour allocation and daily diaries

What are we looking for?

This role of General Foreman is great for you if:

You hold SSSTS or SMSTS certification and a CSCS Card (Gold or Black)
You have proven experience in a construction supervisory role with strong leadership skills
You possess excellent knowledge of construction methods, can interpret construction drawings, and have experience in Groundworks, Earthworks & Reinforced Concrete
You have strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills for liaising with teams, contractors, and stakeholders
You have a strong focus on health and safety compliance with First Aid at Work certification
