Full job description

Role Summary:

We’re looking for a highly organised and reliable Administrator to join our busy team and help keep the day-to-day running of the office smooth and efficient. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys staying organised, managing different priorities and providing dependable support to colleagues.

The successful candidate will be confident using a range of software and able to work accurately while managing multiple tasks at once. You’ll be responsible for a variety of administrative duties, including coordinating schedules, managing correspondence, maintaining accurate records and supporting general office activities. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help ensure the wider team has the support it needs to work effectively and achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Administration: Organise and manage both physical and digital filing systems, ensuring documents are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
Records & Data Management: Keep databases and records accurate and up to date, including client, supplier and employee information.
Project Support: Provide administrative assistance to team members across ongoing projects, helping to keep tasks on track and deadlines met.
Scheduling & Coordination: Arrange appointments, meetings and travel requirements for staff and management, ensuring schedules are well organised.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive company information, documentation and communications with professionalism, discretion and care.
HR Administration: Support with general HR activities, including new employee onboarding and maintaining accurate staff records.
General Support: Assist with other administrative duties as required to support the smooth and efficient running of the office.

Candidate Requirements:

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks effectively.
A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail.
Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to remain calm and focused when working under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
