The Job Role:
To contribute as a member of the team to ensure accurate stock records including receiving in yard and warehouse goods, processing customer orders, conduct rolling stock checks and investigate any discrepancies.
Process Monthly stock reconciliation between the EPOS system & Head Office accounting system to aid finance & management team.
40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5.30pm (8 hour day with additional ½ hour unpaid lunch). With some occasional evenings as required to conduct out-of-hours stock taking
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or a related field is highly desirable
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with good numerical skills being essential
- Problem solving skills needed to identify and resolve discrepancies
- The ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and potentially customers
- Be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines
The post requires a reliable and trustworthy individual who can work independently, manage priorities and stay productive and can also work well with suppliers and other team members.
