We are searching for highly energised, observant, and dynamic Estate Security Officers to undertake Estate Ambassador, Security Surveillance, and Security Patrolling tasks and join our high-performance team at one of the UK’s most prestigious science and technology estates in Cambridge.

The role: anything but ordinary

This role is about movement, engagement, and sharp observation. You will be the face and the eyes of our estate.

Out & about

You won't just be walking; you’ll be conducting high-visibility patrols using our electric vehicles, ensuring every corner of our estate is safe, secure, and operating smoothly.

Surveillance systems

You will operate our state-of-the-art Video Surveillance System (VSS/CCTV), using your natural "nosey" attributes to monitor activity, spot anomalies, and act decisively

Community engagement

You will form a core part of the estate community. You’ll interact daily with world-leading scientists, innovators, tenants, and visitors, delivering first-class customer service with a smile.

First responder

When the unexpected happens, you are the calm, collected professional who steps up. From medical emergencies to facilities issues, you will take charge, coordinate with your team, and ensure a swift resolution.

What you need

Attitude: We hire for attitude and train for skill.
Licensing: An active SIA Security Guard (or Door Supervisor) Licence is essential for this role
Public Space Surveillance (PSS) CCTV Licence is desirable; training is available for the right candidates
Flexibility: Ready to embrace a 12-hour rotating shift pattern (days, nights, and weekends).
