Full job description

Job Opportunity: Accuracy Checking Dispenser/Technician (Pharmacy ACD / ACT) (Trainee Considered)

Battlefield Pharmacy & Travel Clinic is seeking a motivated ACT / ACD (Trainee considered e.g. experienced dispenser) to join our team.

We're looking for individuals committed to providing exceptional customer service, showing proficiency, experience, and a willingness to work in all areas of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

Completing the final accuracy check on dispensed medications (ACD/ACT qualification preferable but training can be provided for the right candidate).
Answering patient queries on the phone or in person.
Stock management, date checking, ordering, labelling, and some administrative tasks.
Work as a team with pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team to deliver excellent customer care.

Opportunity:

Room for progression for the right candidate.
Additional training in services and checking qualifications (if not yet qualified as an ACD or ACT).
Join a forward-thinking and dynamic pharmacy team.

Requirements:

NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services as a minimum (ACD/ACT training can be provided for the right candidate), ACD or ACT.
Preferably 3+ years of experience in community pharmacy.
Genuine passion for pharmacy.
Strong communication skills.
