Purchasing Assistant

Up to £31,000 (DOE)

We are partnered with Utility Warehouse (Telecom Plus PLC), Uswitch, MoneySuperMarket, HIVE and GoCompare, and further launches with other leading comparison brands are happening soon.

We have been successfully trading for over 15 years, employing over 170 office staff and over 3000 engineers nationwide. We have built a bespoke CRM and various web applications to fuel our growth. Our digital infrastructure will enable us to become the UK's largest energy installer in the coming years.

What We’re Looking For

We’re on the hunt for a quick-learning, proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our Purchasing Team. Based in our Ferndown office, you will help us manage purchase orders, supplier communication and system updates.

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s tech-savvy, confident with suppliers and enjoys a mix of work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Raising and managing purchase orders via our internal systems
Communicating with suppliers on orders, pricing and delivery updates
Updating spreadsheets and item data across our CRM and supply chain tools
Supporting the Purchasing Manager with tasks needed
Being a team player with the Logistics Team

You’ll Need To Be...

At least one year's experience in a similar role
Organised, tech-savvy, and confident using spreadsheets & systems
A strong communicator with a friendly and professional phone manner
A team player who’s willing to muck in all elements of purchasing and supply chain
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
Keen to grow and learn in a supply chain and operations environment
