WeRecruit4You Ltd is delighted to be recruiting for a Trainee Paraplanner to join a well-established wealth management business in Sutton Coldfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within financial planning and wealth management, working closely with experienced Financial Advisers and supporting the delivery of high-quality advice to clients.
The successful candidate will ideally have some existing experience within an IFA, financial planning or wealth management environment and be looking to take the next step in their paraplanning career.
The Role
As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will provide technical and administrative support to the Financial Adviser team, helping to ensure clients receive accurate, compliant and well-researched financial planning recommendations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support to Financial Advisers.
- Assisting with the preparation of Suitability Reports and client recommendation letters.
- Calculating and assessing Capital Gains Tax (CGT) liabilities relating to investment disposals.
- Gathering, checking and analysing client information.
- Reviewing fact finds, policy information, valuations and cashflow reports.
- Researching financial planning solutions and preparing supporting information.
- Ensuring documentation is accurate, thorough and compliant.
- Working closely with Advisers and colleagues to support the smooth delivery of the client advice process.
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail across all client documentation and technical work.
About You
We are looking for someone who is keen to build a long-term career within financial planning and has a genuine interest in developing their technical knowledge.
You may already be working as a:
- Trainee or Junior Paraplanner
- Paraplanner
- IFA Administrator
- Wealth Management Assistant
- Financial Planning Administrator
- Financial Services Administrator
Ideally, you will have some experience within an IFA or financial planning environment and be part-way through your Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) or working towards relevant financial planning qualifications.
We would also consider candidates from closely related financial services backgrounds who can demonstrate the right attitude, aptitude and desire to progress into paraplanning.
