Join Our Team as a Lunch Cover Nursery Practitioner!

Part-Time 15 Hours over 5 days, Mon-Fri from 11am-2pm

Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? At Whitstable, we’re looking for a Lunch Cover Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together!

No qualifications are required for this role - Previous experience working in a childcare setting would be beneficial.

Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay: £12.21 - £13.24 per Hour based on experience.
Working Hours: Part-Time 15 Hours over 5 days, Mon-Fri from 11am-2pm

About our Nursery

Located in the lovely seaside town of Whitstable, our nursery was formerly the Whitstable Railway Station. Our three open plan ground floor rooms are full of engaging resources, all designed to create a home-from-home nursery environment. We love to explore the local area with the children and will go on frequent outings; making the most of our seaside location with walks to the beach as well as the harbour, library and park. Our friendly, positive team, enjoy staff days out and employee appreciation too! Please note we also have free on-site free parking and we are located next to the train station and bus stop. We look forward to hearing from you!

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
