Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess situations to determine the appropriate level of care
- Provide basic life support (BLS), including CPR and AED use, to stabilize patients until advanced medical help arrives
- Perform patient care activities such as vital sign monitoring, physical examinations, and injury assessments
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols and medical terminology guidelines
- Conduct thorough physiological and anatomical assessments to inform treatment decisions
- Maintain clear documentation of all interventions, patient condition updates, and incident reports
- Operate emergency vehicles safely, including driving to incident sites and managing heavy lifting during rescue operations
Requirements
- Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid from recognized organizations
- Experience in critical care settings or hospital environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Ability to perform physical examinations and medication administration accurately
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent infection during patient care procedures
- Triage skills to prioritize multiple emergencies efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for emergency vehicle operation
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in high-pressure situations

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
