Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate NHS Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. The practice is conveniently located within easy reach of Manchester, Chester and Liverpool.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality dental care within the NHS framework, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction at every visit. As an integral part of our practice, you will use your clinical skills to provide comprehensive dental treatments, promote oral health education and uphold the highest standards of patient care.

This position is ideal for a motivated dentist seeking to develop their experience within a supportive environment committed to clinical excellence and continuous professional development.

Duties

Provide general dental treatments, including examinations, restorations, extractions and preventive care, in accordance with NHS guidelines.

Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to design dental restorations where applicable.

Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans for a diverse range of patients.

Interpret dental radiographs and CBCT scans to identify dental issues and inform treatment decisions.

Educate patients about oral hygiene, treatment options and preventive measures to support their long-term oral health.

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with NHS requirements and data protection regulations.

Collaborate with dental hygienists, therapists, dental nurses and other team members to provide seamless patient care.

Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control standards and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Qualified dentist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).

A full NHS performer number is essential.

Sound knowledge of dental anatomy, diagnosis and treatment planning.

Experience or familiarity with CAD software used in restorative dentistry is desirable.

Proficiency in interpreting dental radiographs and CBCT scans.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain treatments and procedures clearly to patients.

Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to NHS standards.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
