Full job description

HCB Widdows Mason is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Legal Assistant to join our Residential Property team. This role is perfect for individuals interested in a career in property law and looking to support our team in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Handling client inquiries and providing timely updates on residential property transactions.
Managing the opening and closing of files in accordance with the firm’s regulatory and compliance standards.
Conducting legal research related to residential property laws and regulations.
Assisting solicitors in preparing documentation for property purchases and sales.
Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and client communication.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation within our case management system.
Performing general administrative tasks, including organizing files and scheduling meetings.
Occasional reception duties when required.

Requirements

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in document preparation.
A background in residential property law or related experience is preferred but not essential.
