Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team across our restaurant and wedding venue at Hidden River Cabins. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service while driving the business forward.

Pay is dependent on experience and a commission structure is available to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant and support operations across multiple venues on site
Supervise, motivate, and lead a team of front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding service
Manage staff performance, and training to ensure high standards are maintained
Handle tills, cashing up, and ensure accurate financial procedures are followed
Actively participate in service, including waiting on tables and engaging with guests
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and proactively manage feedback and online reviews
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
Support the development and execution of menus in collaboration with the kitchen
Assist with marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant
Identify opportunities to grow and elevate the restaurant business

Requirements

Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality is essential
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proactive mindset with the ability to think creatively and “outside the box”
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment
Must be reliable and flexible, with availability to work evenings and weekends
Own transport is essential due to the rural location
