Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Language Operations Head to lead our language services team. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of language projects, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with organisational goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, proven supervising experience, and the ability to manage multiple teams effectively. The ideal applicant will be proactive, organised, and possess a strategic mindset to optimise language operations across various platforms and projects.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the language operations team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of quality.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance language service delivery.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to meet organisational objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align language services with organisational needs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the language operations team.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes leadership development and team cohesion.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a language services or related environment.
- Strong management skills with a track record of leading diverse teams effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent organisational and strategic planning abilities.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in linguistics, management, or related fields is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: £6,667.00-£8,333.00 per month
