Linthwaite House is part of the Leeu Collection’s luxury hospitality portfolio. Due to high occupancy we are looking for someone to support our team of porters, over the summer period in our beautiful Hotel overlooking Lake Windermere.
You will work closely with our Front of House and Housekeeping teams to ensure that our Guests have a seamless arrival and stay, and your duties will be wide and varied. The role can be a physically demanding, carrying guest luggage etc
Porter Requirements:
- Advanced use of English language
- Extra languages will be considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork spirit
- Customer-orientated
- Live out
- Seasonal - May suit student looking for summer work

Linthwaite House is located in the heart of the Lake District and set in 14 acres (5.7 hectares) of established gardens and well-maintained woodland grounds with a private tarn. The property boasts breath taking views over Lake Windermere and the fells beyond. The Lake District is renowned for its glacial ribbon lakes, rugged fell mountains and historic literary associations, as well as traditional inns and galleries displaying local art. It has recently been awarded World Heritage status.
