About the Role
Bangor has a growing mix of media communications and professional services organisations and at PPlane Talking UK Aviation Media Services we focus on producing accurate engaging and well organised aviation content for digital and editorial channels.
We are looking for an Editorial Coordinator who can support content planning manage publishing schedules and help coordinate the flow of stories from initial idea through editing and publication.
You will work closely with writers researchers designers and production teams to make sure content is accurate properly prepared and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
Editorial Planning: Support the preparation and maintenance of editorial calendars content schedules and publishing priorities.
Content Coordination: Track articles features interviews and other content from assignment through review approval and publication.
Writer Support: Coordinate with contributors and internal writers to confirm deadlines briefs supporting materials and required revisions.
Copy Preparation: Review submitted content for basic accuracy consistency formatting and completeness before editorial review.
Publishing Support: Prepare approved content for websites newsletters and other digital publishing channels.
Research Coordination: Help gather supporting information source materials and background research for aviation related stories.
Asset Management: Organise images documents interview materials and other editorial assets so they are easy for the team to access.
Progress Tracking: Monitor outstanding assignments deadlines and approvals and follow up where additional action is required.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in editorial support publishing media coordination communications content production or a closely related role.
Editorial Skills: Good understanding of content workflows deadlines proofreading and digital publishing processes.
Organisation: Strong planning skills with the ability to manage multiple stories schedules and priorities at the same time.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills with confidence working with writers contributors and internal teams.
Attention to Detail: Able to identify inconsistencies missing information and formatting issues before content is published.
Research Skills: Comfortable gathering and checking supporting information from reliable sources.
Digital Skills: Experience with content management systems editorial calendars collaboration tools or digital publishing platforms is preferred.
Mindset: You are organised curious and dependable. You take ownership of deadlines communicate clearly and stay focused on helping the editorial team produce accurate timely and engaging content.
Pay: £2,500.00-£3,000.00 per month
