About Our Opportunity
Are you an organised and proactive individual with a passion for logisticsand procurement? We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores & PurchasingCo-ordinatorto join our team in Newmarket. In this vital role, you'llbe at the heart of our operations, ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are managed efficiently to support the seamless delivery of our services. What You Will Be Doing
As our Stores & PurchasingCo-ordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Stores Management: Receive, inspect, and store deliveries; manage stock levels; ensure a clean, compliant, and organised stores environment.
Purchasing: Raise and monitorpurchase orders; liaise with suppliers; ensure timelydeliveries and accurateinvoicing.
Inventory Control: Conduct stock takes, reconcile discrepancies, and report on usage and procurement performance.
Process Improvement: Identifyopportunities to streamline inventory and purchasingsystems.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to forecast stock needs and support uninterrupted operations.
You’llalso play a key role in maintaininghealth and safety compliance and contributing to supplier performance reviews.
About You
To thrive in this role, you’llbring:
Experience in a stores, warehouse, or purchasingrole.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiencywith inventory/procurement systems, ideally Microsoft D365 / AX or similar.
Clear communication skills – both written and verbal.
Ability to manage your time effectively and work on your own initiative.
Basic knowledge of supply chain principles.
A forklift licence and/or logisticstraining (desirable).
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
