Job Description: As a Blind Fitter at Castle Blinds, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service by professionally installing blinds, shutters, and curtains. This position is well-suited for an individual with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Blind Installation:
- Safely and skillfully install a variety of blinds, shutters and curtains in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Adjust blinds to ensure they operate smoothly and meet customer expectations.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Educate customers on the proper use and care of their installed blinds.
Quality Control:
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all installations meet the highest standards of workmanship and aesthetics.
- Identify and address any issues or defects promptly.
Safety:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and precautions to minimize workplace accidents and ensure the well-being of both customers and team members.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, including measurements and materials used.
- Submit installation reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in blind, shutter or curtain installation would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Comfort working at various job sites, including residential and commercial locations.
- Full Clean UK Driving License
