As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, passionate and values-driven Operations Manager to join our senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference by supporting our Registered Managers, driving operational excellence, strengthening quality and governance, and helping shape the future of a growing organisation.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will provide operational leadership across multiple residential and supported living services.
Working collaboratively with Registered Managers and our specialist support teams you will ensure our services consistently deliver safe, effective, well-led and person-centred care while achieving excellent outcomes for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide operational leadership across multiple residential and supported living services.
· Coach, mentor and develop Registered Managers.
· Drive continuous improvement, governance and quality assurance.
· Ensure compliance with CQC standards, legislation and organisational policies.
· Lead service improvement plans following audits and inspections.
· Monitor KPIs, staffing, occupancy, budgets and operational performance.
· Work alongside the PBS team to support people with complex needs.
· Oversee referrals, assessments, admissions and transitions.
· Promote safeguarding, effective risk management and continuous learning.
· Build strong relationships with commissioners, professionals and families.
· Support the mobilisation of new services.
· Lead by example with professionalism, integrity and compassion.
About You
You are an experienced operational leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care, developing people and driving continuous improvement.
Essential
· Significant experience within learning disability, autism or specialist adult social care.
· Experience managing or supporting multiple residential and/or supported living services.
· Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and governance.
· Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
· Experience using KPIs and audits to improve performance.
· Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
· Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
· Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management or Health & Social Care.
· Experience supporting Good or Outstanding CQC inspections.
· Knowledge of PBS, trauma-informed care and person-centred practice.
· Experience leading service improvements or mobilisation of new services.
· Experience working with commissioners and Local Authorities.
