Job Title: Audiologist

Grade: Band 6

Ward/Dept: Audiology

Trust: Manchester University Foundation Trust

Location: Various Manchester locations

Hours: 37.5hours per week

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is one of the largest acute Trusts in the UK, employing over 20,000 staff. They are responsible for running a family of nine hospitals across six separate sites, providing a wide range of services from comprehensive local general hospital care through to highly specialised regional and national services. MFT are also the lead provider for a significant number of specialised services including Breast Care, Vascular, Cardiac, Respiratory, Urology Cancer, Paediatrics, Women’s Services, Ophthalmology and Genomic Medicine.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Undertake specialist hearing assessments of all ages, including those with a complex presentation, using investigative and analytical skills.
Assess the hearing of adults and children and babies using a range of specialist diagnostic tests.
Undertakes diagnostic investigations of hearing for both adults and children.
To monitor and improve quality and standards of care by efficient and effective use of resources.
Working in either a Hospital setting or Community setting

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

RCCP Registration
BSc (Hons) Audiology or equivalent
Significant experience working in the field of Audiology including paediatrics/adults/community
Evidenced portfolio of continuing professional development.
