We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Crown & Bridge Technician to join our dynamic dental laboratory team situated in a quiet Cheshire village and joining a small team of technicians. In this vital role, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality dental crowns and bridges that meet precise specifications and patient needs. Your expertise will directly contribute to restoring smiles and improving patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom dental crowns, bridges, and other prosthetic restorations according to detailed prescriptions and specifications
- Prepare and process dental impressions, models, and wax-ups to create accurate restorations
- Operate and maintain dental laboratory equipment with safety and efficiency in mind
- Collaborate closely with dentists and lab team members to ensure restorations meet clinical standards and patient expectations
- Maintain meticulous records of work progress, materials used, and quality control checks
- Ensure all restorations are finished with precision, including polishing, staining, and glazing as required
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety procedures throughout all fabrication processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Crown & Bridge Technician or similar role within a dental laboratory setting
- Strong knowledge of dental materials, impression techniques, and fabrication processes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with dental professionals and team members
- Experience in using dental CAD/CAM technology (training can be provided), hand tools, and laboratory equipment
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Ability to interpret detailed prescriptions accurately and translate them into precise restorations
- Fluency in English for clear communication; additional language skills are a plus
- A commitment to patient care by producing durable, aesthetic restorations that enhance oral health
