Caretaker- Summer Support

Location: Towpath, Chester Salary: £17,485 per annum pro rata

Hours: Fixed term contract for 3 months Average of 25 hours per week, Flexible. Hours can be worked across 4 out of 7 days, between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.

About Student Roost

Student living is about so much more than just a room, its about feeling at home. As a caretaker at Student Roost, you are involved in all aspects of building maintenance, from carrying out small repairs to escorting third-party contractors to any issues within your building. You will also take the lead on compliance checks with your keen eye for detail and precise reporting skills. And just as you care for our buildings and the people within them, well take care of you.

Skills & Qualities

A People Person friendly, approachable, and great at building relationships.
Confident providing exceptional resident experience through tackling maintenance head on
A team player who thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Tech savvy ability to learn new systems quickly and comfortable using mobile apps to process information
Organised and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills.
Comfortable with following process, with a dedication to Health and Safety
Resilient, with the ability to get stuck in with messy jobs such as drain blockages and bin store management.
Solutions orientated, with the ability to think on your feet.
Electrical training will be provided however any additional maintenance qualifications are welcomed, but not essential.
