Part-Time Painter & Decorator / Maintenance Operative

The recently refurbished The Regency Hotel Solihull is looking for a skilled and reliable Part-Time Painter & Decorator / Maintenance Operative to help maintain our high standards throughout the hotel.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with painting and decorating experience who also has practical handyman and general maintenance skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Painting and decorating guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and function spaces.
- Carrying out touch-ups and repairs to maintain the hotel's freshly refurbished appearance.
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
- Minor repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Supporting the maintenance team with day-to-day hotel upkeep.
Requirements:
- Previous painting and decorating experience.
- Basic handyman and property maintenance skills.
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Friendly and professional attitude.
- Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience is advantageous but not essential.
