Are you a motivated individual with a passion for client care and a drive to deliver results? Proximo Legal Services is looking for a Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Claims Handler to join our busy, dynamic team.
You'll take full ownership of a pre-litigated caseload from inception through to settlement, working closely with clients, medical experts, and solicitors. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes genuine pride in progressing cases efficiently and professionally.
What You'll Be Doing
▸ Managing your own pre-litigation PI caseload from start to settlement
▸ Obtaining and disclosing medical reports; negotiating and achieving settlement
▸ Liaising with clients, insurers, expert witnesses, and solicitors
▸ Instructing experts and, where necessary, preparing court bundles
▸ Managing client expectations and keeping them informed throughout
▸ Using the Proclaim case management system to progress and record client matters
▸ Billing and recovering fees in line with company guidelines and client care letters
▸ Maintaining financial controls and recording chargeable hours against agreed targets
▸ Ensuring confidentiality and security of all client documentation
▸ Complying with CPD requirements and contributing to your own professional development
▸ Upholding the firm's professional standards and promoting Proximo Legal Services
What We're Looking For
▸ Previous personal injury experience required
▸ An excellent communicator, particularly over the telephone, with the ability to build rapport quickly
▸ Confident handling conversations with peers, clients, and legal professionals alike
▸ Able to follow defined processes while using initiative where appropriate
▸ A team player with genuine ambition and a professional approach
▸ Detail-oriented, organised, and committed to delivering a high quality of work
