At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow. Our Cities & Places team is helping shape some of the UK's most significant built environment projects, delivering everything from major buildings and sustainable infrastructure to transformational regeneration schemes that leave a lasting impact on communities.
As our portfolio continues to grow across Scotland, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is an opportunity to play a leading role on complex, high-value projects across infrastructure, buildings, design and build, energy and defence sectors, supporting programmes that are critical to Scotland's future.
You'll work alongside industry-leading specialists delivering projects that support Scotland's evolving infrastructure landscape, from major transportation and urban development initiatives to strategic energy investments, defence programmes and complex industrial facilities. With landmark developments taking place across the country, including investment in Scotland's energy transition, major defence infrastructure and the continued modernisation of public assets, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to projects that make a tangible difference.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of technical consultancy services for a wide range of public and private sector clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll lead multidisciplinary project teams and collaborate closely with clients, designers, engineers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality, programme and cost performance.
You will manage projects through the full lifecycle, taking ownership from initial planning and business case development through to design, procurement, construction and handover.
You'll bring the ability to balance competing stakeholder priorities, navigate complex project challenges and provide practical, technically sound solutions that drive successful outcomes. Beyond project delivery, you will help shape project direction, foster innovation and contribute to the continued growth of our Scotland business.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in infrastructure, buildings or design and build project management, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering excellence. You'll enjoy building trusted client relationships, mentoring emerging talent and creating an environment where people can perform at their best.
In return, you'll join a business that is delivering some of the UK's most exciting projects, with opportunities to work across sectors including transportation, energy, defence, advanced manufacturing and the built environment. At Jacobs, you'll be empowered to grow your career, broaden your experience and help deliver solutions that create a more connected, sustainable and resilient future for Scotland and beyond.
