We are seeking a dedicated Back of House Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering high-quality meals to our customers. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene regulations at all times
- Support the team in meal assembly and plating for service periods
- Restock supplies and organise storage areas efficiently
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of kitchen equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior team members
- Experience in serving or customer interaction is a plus but not mandatory
