Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a full time permanent member of staff to join our team as a Baker. This is a 40 hour a week position, worked across 5 days and involves preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of savoury food items in a fast-paced, hands on environment.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to award winning recipes and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other appliances
Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Support team members during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of shortages or expiry dates

Requirements

Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or cooking is preferred but not essential as all training will be provided in-house
Willingness to learn or already knowledgeable of kitchen safety procedures and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to evolving menus
