JOB ROLE: Administrator

LOCATION: Bishops Castle, Shropshire (SY9)

SALARY:£13.95 per hour

HOURS: Part-time, 18 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS: Full UK Driving License due to location.

Our Children's Activity Centre is a vibrant activity centre supporting young people through engaging programmes, creative activities and personal development opportunities. We are passionate about creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where young people can thrive.

About the role:

We are looking for a highly organised and friendly Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our busy activity centre. This is a key role, providing essential administrative support to staff, young people and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Providing general administrative support to the centre team
Managing phone calls, emails and enquiries from parents, carers and partner organisations
Maintaining accurate records, databases and attendance registers
Supporting bookings, room schedules and activity timetables
Assisting with finance administration (e.g. invoices, petty cash, purchase orders)
Preparing documents, reports and correspondence
Ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding standards are upheld at all times
Supporting events, activities and projects as required

Requirements:

Must be aged 21+ due to the
Previous administrative experience (ideally in a youth, education or community setting)
Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Can work independently and as part of a team
A positive, approachable manner when working with young people and families
