Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision and efficiency, printing an applying corporate branding, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the process and preparing orders for shipment and delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components accurately according to technical specifications and work instructions.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality checks at various stages of assembly to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for assembly tasks.
- Experience in assembly processes within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accuracy in all work performed.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior manufacturing or sign / expo experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
