Full job description

Job Summary

Temporary position to cover maternity leave-

To provide assistance to doctors and practice staff and to support the practice team in their efforts to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where patients will feel comfortable. You will be working over two sites so must be a car owner.

Reception Duties

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our busy, friendly GP Practice based in Colchester. We are a semi rural practice with around 8900 patients covering two sites so driving licence is essential.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent communication and people skills, a positive attitude, good team work.

Duties will include but are not limited to, booking appointments, answering the telephone, dealing with patient queries both face to face & over the telephone, emails, scanning and much more.

Experience within a GP practice and knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage but full training will be provided.

The applicant must be flexible and able to cover at short notice

Hours are 27 hours a week over 3 days

Please note the hours are 8am - 6:30PM with a 90 minute unpaid lunch break

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour
