Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fencer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fencing structures across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Measure and mark fencing lines according to project specifications
Install different types of fencing materials including wooden, metal, and wire fences
Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, and post drivers to assemble and secure fencing components
Ensure all fencing is level, secure, and compliant with safety standards
Repair or replace damaged fencing sections as required
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as masons or electricians when necessary for integrated projects
Maintain a clean and organised work site to promote safety and efficiency
Follow all health and safety regulations during installation and maintenance activities

Experience

Proven experience in fencing installation or related construction trades is preferred
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
Experience working on outdoor sites in various weather conditions is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
