We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas and corridors are tidy and well-maintained
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and linen rooms
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
Requirements
- Previous hotel or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
