Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for great food, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistently high standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and stretch pizza dough to specification
Create and cook a variety of pizzas according to recipes and presentation standards
Prepare and organise toppings, sauces, and ingredients for service
Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently to achieve consistent quality
Maintain a clean and organised workstation while adhering to food safety standards
Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and quality food production
Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering requirements
Monitor ingredient quality and ensure all products meet company standards

Skills:

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar kitchen role
Strong knowledge of pizza preparation, dough handling, and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency during busy service periods
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-volume environment
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Culinary training or certification is a plus
Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
