Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified, dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our 3 surgery dental practice. The position is for 4 days per week Monday-Thursday with potential to cover Fridays as needed. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently using IT systems.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area to uphold the highest standards of hygiene.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience from arrival to departure.
Ability to manage front desk — from greeting guests to handling phone lines

Experience/Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred.
Previous experience with reception is preferred.
A background in nursing or healthcare is advantageous, as well as familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices.
Strong organisational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check before commencing employment.
