Job Title: Business Development Manager – International Events

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum + uncapped commission (OTE £60,000-£70,000 per annum)

Plus half-day Fridays!

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with exhibitors and sponsors, and selling opportunities across our growing portfolio of events.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting outbound sales activity to prospective clients to generate new business opportunities
Building and maintaining strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors and industry stakeholders
Understanding client objectives and offering solutions that deliver real value
Managing the full sales process from initial conversation through to closing deals
Meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
Creating and maintaining accurate records of all sales activity
Collaborating with the wider sales and events team to identify new opportunities
Attending exhibitions and industry events to build relationships and support commercial growth

Requirements:

Ideally 1-2+ years' experience in sales, business development or account management (exhibition/event experience is advantageous but not essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident speaking with senior decision-makers and building long-term relationships
Self-motivated, ambitious and driven to achieve targets
Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage your own workload
A positive attitude and desire to develop within a growing business
