Job Title: Box Office Supervisor

Organisation: Just the Tonic

Location: Edinburgh Fringe Festival, 2026

Employment Type: Fixed-term (Immediate Start to End August)

Just the Tonic is a leading comedy and live performance promoter, known for showcasing cutting-edge acts and delivering unforgettable audience experiences at festivals and events across the UK. We have been a part of Ed Fringe for 20 years and have grown a wealth of experience, but we're here to bring the fun too and encourage our team to take full advantage of what's on offer with free access to all of our 200+ shows.

We are currently seeking experienced Box Office Supervisors to join our team for the Edinburgh Fringe 2026.

Job Overview

We are looking for box office supervisors to look after the day to day back of house running of the box office. This is quite an admin heavy role and involves monitoring the box office emails, assisting in any show cancellations and refunds, answering complaints, and supporting the front of house box office team with system support/troubleshooting and covering breaks. There will also be performers and our press office to liaise with regarding ticket sales, comps and tools to boost sales.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a box office role using Red61 or similar ticketing system.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address issues proactively.
Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during the Edinburgh Fringe festival.

Job Types: Temporary, Fixed term contract

Pay: £13.71 per hour
