Senior Planner
Monday to Friday – Working from Home Available
£42,000 - £50,000 – Dependent on Experience

We are an expanding planning-led consultancy working across England & Wales supporting business, communities and individual clients with planning strategies, site appraisals, to deliver planning permissions for mixed-use, open market and custom and self-build homes, park and leisure home sites and winning permission in areas of constraint.
We have particular a strength in dealing with planning enforcement, planning appeals, caravan site licensing, prior approvals and certificates of lawful use.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic senior planner to join our team with the opportunity to shape the role to build on your strengths. You should have broad experience of the English and Welsh planning system with the skills and competency to support and assist our directors and senior team to grow the business into new sectors while building on our client base in those areas where we are already leading.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
· Developing and managing client relationships
· Formulating planning strategies and providing policy advice and support to other team members.
· Preparing written statements and supporting documentation for planning applications, certificates of lawfulness and appeals
· Coordinating and managing complex planning cases from appointment to determination.
· Conducting negotiations with LPAs and consultees
· Attending site visits.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· Extensive Knowledge of the English planning system and policies.
· Post Grad and/or RTPI accredited qualification – Desirable but not essential with appropriate experience in the UK planning system.
· Demonstrable experience management of the planning process from initial enquiry to determination and beyond.
· A meticulous approach to dealing with data is essential.
· Experience of Certificates of Lawfulness, Enforcement and Land Use Planning is desirable but not essential,
· The ability to carry out thorough and logical research and analysis of planning history and policy to support planning appraisals, statements and development proposals.
