Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

The Subcontract Administrator will report to the Supply Chain Lead for LMUK Space.
The Subcontract Administrator will work within a multi-functional Supply Chain Management Team (SMT) dealing with the external suppliers. They will have the responsibility for third party deliverables for capture opportunities and programmes focussed on the commercial, cost, technical, schedule and quality requirements for each contracted product or service. The SMT is the main focal point into the supply base and work collaboratively to create integrated supply solutions, working with programme management, customer and suppliers, drawing upon experiences and knowledge to ensure success.
They should have a variety of relevant experience working on complicated and multi layered programmes. They will have a direct interface with external suppliers and day to day interaction with members of the Project Management Office (PMO).
